This spoof is awesome, even if some evangelical freak is going to use it to justify acting like a crazy person when their kids want to get online. Serioulsy, Try Going Outside Sometime
This spoof is awesome, even if some evangelical freak is going to use it to justify acting like a crazy person when their kids want to get online. I Freakin KNEW IT!
I knew Johnny Mnemonic was on to something!
The US Navy has released a picture of one of its' newest recruits - a dolphin! I wonder if it's called "Jones".
Here's the pic from the article:
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, all I have to say is.. Mom?
Seriously, Johnny Mnemonic. A mediocre movie based on a phenomenal story by William Gibson.
It was about the future.
It had a Cyber-Dolphin named Jones who lived in "Heaven", which was a slum. (So witty, these writers, such cutting parody.)
Oh, and the "main" stars, Keanu Reeves and Ice-T... well, they can't act. But some of the ideas they had were pretty awesome, even if I can just make out the AOL logo in the upper right of Johnnys' VR interface. Still, worth a watch if you're fiending for some late 20th century SciFi.
It's better than most of the SciFi channels made-for-TV's, and that's kind of sad :(
